10 Things about Marcel Duchamp
“The trip I took into the mystic was inspired by Duchamp,” says Minneapolis-based painter Frank Gaard, subject of an early 2012 solo show at the Walker, “as was my sense that language was a medium for visual artists.” In commemoration of the 125th anniversary of Marcel Duchamp’s birth (July 28, 1887), Gaard shares ten musings on the man.

Race of Jesus CGI
An 18-second video sample from episode three of the BBC history series Son of God. The video is a sample of an animation produced by design team Red Vision, and displays a facial reconstruction created by forensic anthropologist Richard Neave. Neave's reconstruction was based on a skull of a first-century Galilean Semite.
Nail Art Video
Though not widely thought of as a form of art, I think this takes a great deal of creativity and a good bit of skill.
